InReach customers to receive Professional Excellence and Outstanding Achievement Awards at the ACLEA 2013 Annual Meeting

AUSTIN, Texas – July 11, 2013 – InReach, a leading provider of online continuing education (CE) management solutions, announces that The Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) has recognized three InReach affiliates, the New Hampshire Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI), and the South Carolina Bar, for excellence in CLE programming.

The South Carolina Bar will receive a Professional Excellence Award for Whipping up Some Justice: Chili, Cornbread, and the Unforgiving Minute with Jim Blackburn, part of the South Carolina Bar’s Cooking CLE Online Series. The New Hampshire Bar Association was selected for an Award of Outstanding Achievement, Public Interest category, for their Pro Bono Webcast Series: Learn@Lunch. PBI will receive an Award of Outstanding Achievement in the Best program Category for The Law and Literature: Lessons for lawyers from great literature.

“I am humbled by this award and really proud of our staff and ‘star” Leslie Riddle,” said Terry Burnett, CLE director of the South Carolina Bar. “We are always looking for ways to deliver great CLE to members and if we can combine a creative and fun approach with meaningful content, all the better. We’re happy that so many were able to join online, without leaving the comfort of their offices. All they missed was the aroma of the food.”

“The NH Bar’s Pro Bono Referral Program fills the critical need to provide legal services to low income residents. Volunteer lawyers help NH residents deal with issues from domestic violence, family law, bankruptcy and debt collection, to foreclosure prevention, eviction, federal tax disputes and basic estate planning,” stated Joanne Hinnendael, NH Bar CLE director. “The NH Bar CLE team is proud to be a part of this program. And, to receive ACLEA recognition on top of the satisfaction we get from giving back to the community, adds very special icing to the cake.”

“We are excited and grateful to receive recognition and validation from our peers,” stated Richard McCoy, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. “And, member response to the program has been excellent, with participants commenting on the quality and depth of the material as well as the entertaining format. We’re very proud of our CLE team and this creative and informative program.”

“We are delighted that the New Hampshire Bar, PBI, and South Carolina Bar are receiving recognition from their peers,” stated Sara Spivey, InReach president and CEO. “We witness the hard work, commitment, and creativity each of these CLE teams brings to their educational programs every day, and can attest that these awards are very well-deserved.”

The Best of ACLEA Awards of Professional Excellence recognize outstanding work in the areas marketing, programs, publications, public interest (also called the Steven Leleiko Memorial Award for Professional Excellence), and technology (also called the John Day Memorial Award for Professional Excellence). The Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes the first and second runners up in each category. Both awards will be presented at the ACLEA 2013 Annual Meeting, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland.
