Continuing Education Checklist

To run a successful continuing education program, first define your learning goals and target audience clearly. Identify required credit types and choose the course format, such as live, on-demand, hybrid, or webinar.

Develop your curriculum by selecting subject matter experts and creating presentation materials that meet accreditation standards. Include assessments or knowledge checks to measure learner understanding.

Set up your course on the learning platform, adding details like title, description, credits, pricing, and branding. Test technical aspects, including audio, video, captions, and accessibility, before launch. Ensure compliance by verifying credit eligibility, collecting forms, tracking attendance, and preparing certificates.

Promote your course using SEO-friendly descriptions, email campaigns, social posts, and website updates. During delivery, monitor registrations, troubleshoot issues, encourage engagement, and provide learner support.

After the course, issue certificates, submit credit reports, collect feedback, and analyze metrics like engagement and satisfaction. Use this information to update content, retire outdated material, and plan future courses.
