InReach Partners with proSHARE to Create Additional Revenue Stream for Association Customers
New program attracts leading advertisers to continuing education websites

InReach, a leading provider of online continuing education (CE) management solutions, today announces a partnership with proSHARE, a joint project of the Ohio State Bar Association’s (OSBA) for-profit subsidiary and gainSHARE. This partnership, designed to leverage the dramatic expansion in digital advertising for the benefit of associations, provides InReach customers with a new channel for creating non-dues revenue that can be used to fund existing or new programs.
The proSHARE digital advertising network was created to connect professional associations with well-known national advertisers. By banding together, InReach association customers can attract premier advertisers to place paid advertising within their online continuing education catalogs and their online continuing education programs as well. These advertisements, controlled by the associations but managed by proSHARE, expand continuing legal education (CLE) revenue with little or no investment on the part of participating associations.
“The OSBA has a history of being entrepreneurial, and this is the latest example of that. We created proSHARE as a way to increase non-dues revenue for member-based associations,” said OSBA President Jonathan Hollingsworth. “With the participation of multiple associations and the full support of Google, we have garnered the interest of advertisers that in the past would not have considered paid advertising on association sites.”

proSHARE will handle day-to-day management of the program, including monthly reporting. InReach customers will control which advertisers are promoted on their sites. The InReach product functionality to enable the ad serving will be available by February 15, 2014.
