The State Bar of Arizona has won yet another award for their outstanding program, ‘Hidden in Plain Sight: Dementia and Its Impact on Lawyers and Judges.” As the winner of an Award of Professional Excellence in Public Interest, The Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) will recognize the State Bar at their annual meeting in Montreal this July.
The program, which won the NABE 2017 Community & Educational Outreach Award in May, discusses ethical duties and responsibilities addressing dementia in the legal profession. In addition to being offered in partnership with the Arizona Supreme Court and InReach, the webcast saw attendance from multiple firms, healthcare providers, government agencies and employers in at least 26 states. Proving just how important the topic is to many individuals.
