Dear Partners,
This will be the final letter I write to you as CEO of InReach. I’m taking on a new role to help grow our Jonas business unit, of which InReach is one part. This new role is absolutely coherent with my career ambition, so I’m very excited about the future. Don Decker will be the President of InReach effective January 1st, 2018. You can read much more about Don in the article in this newsletter.
My philosophies provide the “lens” with which I use to view the business landscape and “read the business world.” One of my philosophies is this: In reality, there are no objective business organizations that can be touched or seen. There are, however, teams of people that collaborate with one another to achieve specific outcomes and objectives. The InReach team of people will continue to be committed to help you now, and well into the future. It is also this InReach team of people that I absolutely value and trust to help you to achieve your goals. And, Don Decker, is the right business leader to lead this team to successfully help you now, and well into the future.
Over the last 5 years, I’ve developed relationships with all of you. Effective relationships “magically” appear when people positively impact other people’s strategies, capabilities or concerns. So, while we may not have actually spoken to each other, our relationship is real because we always helped each other to achieve our professional and personal goals.
Thank you so very much for your relationship and partnership over the last 5 years. I’m astonished by how much I’ve learned from all of you.
